Recently, news of the conflict between Wintermute and DWF Labs, the two most prominent market makers (MMs) in the cryptocurrency sector, caused a stir in the crypto community. Wintermute president Yoann Turpin criticized a series of DWF Labs-related issues at the Token 2049 event. In his speech, Turpin made the negative point that DWF Labs should not be viewed as a market maker (MM) in the way that Wintermute understands.
